Let’s have a look at some projects that we completed in October

With days getting even shorter, colder mornings and supermarkets jumping the gun on Christmas decorations (of course) it really does feel like November is well underway. So, let’s have a look back on works completed by HMS during October this year!
Resin Bonded Paving at Ednaston Park

Wyaston Housing Development for Just Construction

Partnering with builders and property developers, national or independent, in completing their projects is on the agenda every month here at HMS, with this job being no exception.

750 metres² of an Amber Gold resin bonded surface was applied to all driveways and access roads, really tying the project together and giving the development a uniformed finish.

Developers searching for an alternative to large areas of black tarmac look no further! Boasting a wide range of colours, and super-fast curing times alongside the ability to be installed directly onto the new tarmac – resin bonded surfacing tends to come up trumps as the most viable surfacing solution!

The surfacing’s flexibility usually catches the eye of clients as it is suitable for all types of hard landscaping – from driveways to footpaths and recreational spaces. It’s flexibility of use coupled with the ability to be applied to large areas quickly minimises disruption to residents. This means HMS can satisfy a variety of stakeholders, all in a day’s work!

Lioncourt Homes phase 2, Cotswolds for M & J Evans Construction

HMS also completed works at a new housing development for Lioncourt Homes in the Cotswolds. We custom-made a resin bonded mix to match the natural Cotswold stone, leaving a surface that effortlessly fits into its surroundings. Laying around 850m² of this custom blend to all pedestrian access including footpaths around the development, communal walkways, and POS (public open space) pathways!

This bespoke finish looks amazing – if we don’t say so ourselves! Jobs like this are really a testament to what we can achieve when working with developers to help bring their vision to life, no large awkward patches of aggregate left as an eye sore!

HMS can work with you to help find solutions; we aren’t in the business of creating problems!

Ednaston Park, Prestigious Business Centre in Staffordshire

In October we also visited Ednaston Park and laid another 750 metres, but this time in a Britney Bronze on behalf of TanRo – completing their redevelopment of the prestigious business centre.

Our resin bonded surfacing was laid onto their driveway up to the building and covered their entire car park. Britney Bronze was selected as the most appealing to our client, as its colour was sympathetic to the building’s original features whilst maintaining a premium, high-end finish. Set in the beautiful, deep countryside here at HMS we live for jobs like this – finishing prestigious projects to the highest standard is where we are most comfortable!

NBS Source

A slight change of pace, but an important part of our previous month nonetheless!

HMS went live on NBS Source last month, giving us the infrastructure to communicate with architects, landscape designers, and civil engineers all on one, easy-to-use platform. Inducing accessibility through our surfacing has been a reoccurring theme throughout our long lifespan, but accessibility for developers to select and specify surfacing solutions has finally caught up with what we do practically!

This is just scratching the surface of overall works completed by HMS last month, for an ever-updating forum showcasing what we do – follow the relevant channels across all major social media platforms, see you there!
