From high-profile city centre works to luxury housing developments and carefully detailed residential installations, the year reflects our continued commitment to quality, durability and collaboration.
Key highlights for resin bound surfacing
One of the standout commercial projects of the year was the delivery of 10 resin bound shop frontages in Dulwich, London for FM Conway, along with new paving works in Leicester city centre for Leicester City Council, supporting ongoing urban regeneration.
Within the residential sector, we completed public open space footpaths for Bellway Homes, worked with Vistry Homes in collaboration with M&J Evans at the Collingtree housing development, and delivered high-quality external works for Davidsons Homes. We also installed luxury driveways for Hurst Homes, where premium finishes and attention to detail were essential.
Another standout project this year was the installation of new dugouts at St George’s Park, the official training ground of England’s national football teams.
Alongside these larger schemes, we continued to complete a wide variety of private residential projects, from large rural homes to properties in towns and city centres.
Resin bonded surface dressing projects
This year we delivered a wide range of resin bonded surfacing projects across heritage locations, public infrastructure and luxury residential developments.
Highlights include resin bonded footpaths at the Chatsworth Estate and Gardens, where sensitivity to the historic landscape and visitor experience was essential. We also completed public open space footpaths for a Persimmon Homes development, providing durable, attractive routes designed for long-term community use.
Within the residential sector, we installed resin bonded driveways for several luxury housing developers, creating high-quality finishes that complement premium properties.
Our public realm work included sections of the Temple Newson cycle network, supporting safer and more accessible active travel routes, as well as coastal pavements for TTS Wales, designed to withstand challenging environmental conditions.
We also installed a resin bonded driveway at Sir John Moore School, carefully selected and installed to complement the site’s listed character.
High Friction Surfacing Works
We have delivered a range of high friction surfacing works, using both hot and cold applied systems, across multiple public and development-led schemes.
Within Leicester city centre, we completed high friction surfacing at various locations for Leicester City Council, improving skid resistance and safety in high-risk and high-traffic areas.
We also undertook S78 and S278 highway works for housing developers, supporting new developments by delivering compliant, durable surfacing solutions as part of wider infrastructure improvements.
In London, we installed high friction surfacing pads across Richmond and Kingston upon Thames for FM Conway, helping to create safer routes to schools and improve pedestrian and cyclist safety in key locations.
Further works included the River Lea towpath in Enfield, where high friction surfacing was applied to enhance safety along this well-used shared pedestrian and cycle route.
Flexible Rubber & Aggregate Decra®Flex Paving
Our Rubber & Aggregate Decra®Flex flexible paving solutions have been used across a variety of sites where accessibility, sustainability and minimal ground disturbance are essential.
A key project this year was the transformation of the Midland Railway Ripley Branch Line into a fully accessible, eco-friendly route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, delivered in collaboration with Pugh Lewis for Derbyshire County Council. The flexibility and permeability of the system made it ideal for this sensitive regeneration project.
The no-dig capabilities of Decra®Flex were utilised to install a new churchyard footpath, allowing safe access while preserving existing ground conditions and heritage features.
Within parks and leisure environments, we installed Decra®Flex footpaths at Kyle Asquith Sports Facility and Valley Park in Leicester, providing safe, durable and visually sympathetic surfaces for public use. We also delivered works at Ravensdale SEN School, where the flexible, slip-resistant surface supports accessibility and safety for pupils and staff.
These projects highlight the versatility of Decra®Flex, making it an ideal solution for heritage sites, no-dig areas, parks, leisure facilities and schools.
