Resin bonded Decra®Stone surfacing can be applied to new or good-quality existing tarmac or concrete bases, minimising the requirement for costly and disruptive preparation works to achieve your desired finish. Our resin bonded surfacing can be installed at up to as much as several hundred square meters per day, and ready to use in as little as six hours.
The nature of the product means it offers excellent increased slip resistance in comparison to traditional surfacing options, and can also be dressed using HAPAS/BBA approved highways graded aggregates for even greater anti-slip properties. This is a perfect solution for areas of increased safety such as access ramps and commercial or industrial areas.
For non-domestic and public area use, Decra ®Stone also lends itself to overlaying with thermoplastic and pre-formed line marking. This makes is suitable for safety demarcation in areas such as car parks and safe routes to schools.
Our Decra®Set resin bound paving is particularly popular for areas where uninhibited access is paramount, such as hospitals and care settings, where reduced mobility and access equipment such as wheelchairs are used, and safety is key. The smooth, completely encapsulated system not only offers excellent slip resistance, but creates a completely uniform finish, capable of regulation and with absolutely no loose stone or undulations.
Both resin based products from HMS are incredibly hard wearing and durable, making either of them an excellent choice for domestic, commercial and industrial usage including areas of heavy footfall.
