As we hit peak summer season for resin installation, we’re still navigating the national material shortages as well as we can, whilst making the most of the good weather with a little artistic programming! We’re still working hard to meet our clients’ deadlines as far as possible, continue reading our July 2021 Roundup to learn more about the projects we completed!
S Brown Paving: Hickling, Leicester
HMS has completed many projects with surfacing contractor S Brown Paving, to include private properties and more notably continued renovations to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire which is one of our personal favourites!
This project was another fantastic renovation of a period property, situated in a village location in North Leicestershire, and even included the discovery of a very old well within the driveway area. Thought to originally be the main source of water for the entire village, it has been renovated for safety to include a contemporary glass cover, and now forms an amazing design feature within the surface. Finished using contemporary golden gravel to compliment the surroundings, we think it looks great!
Carmac: Alconbury, Cambs
We have completed many projects on Morris Homes sites across the country for Carmac, including this one opposite the RAF base at Alconbury Weald; a very large development of multiple home builders, plus numerous public amenities. Having completed several visits for the application of resin bonded paving to both private and shared access driveways, this visit encompassed more of the same surfacing.
Larger areas of shared access and private driveways totalling around 600m2 were finished using our most popular 2-4mm Amber Gold natural aggregate to not only look fantastic but offer enhanced slip resistance and protection for years to come. With an estimated life span of 8-15 years, this low-cost surface dressing option offers exceptional value for money on commercial, domestic and industrial projects alike.
