Following on from February’s blog post, we have since completed on the Spire Hospital Scheme, and London Wall is well under way.
Spire Hospital in Tollerton on behalf of Breedon finished right on time, and looks fantastic. The bespoke aggregate blend has been very well received, and once all the planting is complete, the Decra®Set pathways are going to be a real feature.
Our resin bound paving is a great choice for areas used by people with assisted mobility requirements, on account of the surfacing having zero aggregate migration, yet still being solidly non-slip under foot. Exceptionally durable, the pathways will require little to no maintenance throughout its life, which we would expect to be in excess of 20 years.
London Wall has been a long time in design and construction phases, ahead of our attendance to start laying the specially commissioned Decra®Flex paving system. Not dissimilar to our Decra®Set surfacing, Decra®Flex benefits from superior flexibility at thicker installation depths, rendering it suitable for shaping, and semi-rigid locations such as bridge-decks, and other flexible structures.
It’s all a bit of a building site still at the moment… but you get the idea…!
