With spring approaching we at HMS are looking forward to defrosting our decorative trowels, with some great schemes in the pipeline for the coming months:
Spire Hospital, Nottingham
We’re embarking this week at the brand new Spire Hospital site just outside Nottingham on behalf of Breedon & Morgan Sindall where we are installing over 600m² of Decra®Set resin bound paving to a large expanse of footpaths, which form part of a tranquil garden to the rear of this ultra-modern private medical facility. The chosen colour is a bespoke mix, specially blended for this particular scheme, and we are very excited to see the finished results!
London Wall, EC2Y
We’re keeping with the resin bound paving theme, by moving on to a very prestigious scheme at London Wall in Central London, on behalf of client Wilson & Scott Highways & William Hare. This project has been a long time in the making, due to its intricate design and prominent location. HMS will be solely responsible for over 1,000m² of bespoke designed Decra®Flex paving – a specially designed variation of our classic Decra®Set, engineered to perform on steel and suspended structures – to a suspended footbridge high up above the city, creating a spectacular vantage point coupled with cutting edge design.
Keep an eye on our blog page in the coming months for updates and photos on both exciting projects.
Towards the end of January we had another excellent weekend at the National Self Build and Renovations Centre, generating our most enquires to date. We spoke to many people over the three-day event, discussing lots of different types of self-build schemes, at varying stages of their creation. With porosity and SUDS compliancy being high on the list of required attributes, our Decra®Range resin bound paving is proving increasingly popular.
