In 1999, HMS put its Quality Management System forward for assessment and HMS was approved to the standards and guidelines of:

• BS EN ISO 9001: 2000
• Certificate No: GB 5141
• “Development and Installation of Specialist Highway Surface Treatments”

HMS is an approved installer under the BBA highways accreditation scheme for High Friction Surfacing. As such, HMS complies with the Specification for Highway Works Clause 924 and is able to lay anti-skid surfacing on all classes of road for the Highways Agency, the Scottish Executive and the Welsh Assembly.
