‘Flexi-Band’ is a simple but effective Overband Sealant for sealing small cracks in bituminous or concrete pavements and comprises a proprietary formulation of polymer modified bitumen, special aggregates, extenders and an adhesion agent.

‘Flexi-Band’ can be applied up to a width of 300 mm and is installed to cracks and open seams after pre-treatment with hot compressed air, to "blow out" any loose detritus and to dry the substrate. 

‘Flexi-Band’ and all similar products are recommended up to a width of 40mm on highways when ‘Flexi-Band’ is laid parallel, or close to the parallel to the direction of the traffic flow.  Alternative treatments with higher skid resistance are available from HMS in this instance.

‘Flexi-Band’ is available in two grades, ‘Standard’ and ‘Super’ with 60PSV and 70PSV aggregates.
